The Winnipeg Short Film Massacre is a non-profit festival dedicated to showcasing innovative horror produced in Canada. The Winnipeg Short Film Massacre aims to provide emerging local filmmakers with an opportunity to exhibit their work; additionally, our festival celebrates the diversity of horror film across Canada, with an emphasis on the considerable contributions Manitobans have made to our national film community.

The Winnipeg Short Film Massacre has screened to sold-out audiences since its inception in 2004. Past judges have included University of Manitoba Professor Dr. David Annandale, as well as prolific filmmaker David Decoteau.
